One of the most exciting new features in Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the ability to ride your favourite Pokemon! These special mounts are a fun way to travel through the Hisui region, and allow you to navigate difficult areas with ease.

As you progress through the main story, you’ll unlock more and more Pokemon that can act as rideable companions. This means you can go over water, fly through the skies, and even dash across the ground!

Wyrdeer

As you play through Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you’ll come across a few Noble and rideable Pokemon that can be difficult to get into your party. These are useful, though and will help you complete the game faster.

First, you’ll need to defeat an Alpha Kricketune in Deertrack Heights (Heights Camp) in Obsidian Fieldlands. After that, meet with Warden Mai and Diamond Clan Leader Adaman and they’ll tell you about a Wyrdeer that wants to be your ride.

You can then use the Celestica Flute song to summon it and ride on it. You can use it to move around the lands faster and it’s also used to find hidden treasure.

You can also use it to surf across bodies of water in the Crimson Mirelands and Alabaster Icelands. This is a great way to get across bodies of water and find hidden areas in the early stages of the game.

Basculegion

Basculin is a water-type Pokemon that’s known for being able to swim across large bodies of water quickly. It’s a valuable addition to your party in Legends: Arceus, as it can save you a lot of time on missions where you have to cross a big body of water without getting drowned.

Basculegion is also a rideable Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which means that you can double jump and throw Poke Balls while riding it across the water. It’s one of the few rideable Pokemon in the game that can help you access areas that you can’t normally reach on land.

To evolve Basculin into Basculegion, you’ll need to visit Tranquillity Cove or Islespy Shore of the Cobalt Coastlands, Lake Acuity in Alabaster Icelands, or Fabled Spring in Coronet Highlands. Then, you’ll need to use Wave Crash in Strong Style 3 times.

Once you’ve done that, Basculin will evolve into Basculegion by receiving at least 300 recoil damage in battles. This process will likely take several battles, but it’ll be well worth it if you’re looking to ride across large rivers.

Ursaluna

The Pokemon Legends: Arceus game adds a number of new evolutions to familiar Pokemon, including the rideable bear Ursaluna. However, like other rideable Pokemon, they don’t always match the ones you have in your party.

In arceus, you’ll have four different rideable Pokemon to choose from, all of which are accessible at any time. Wyrdeer is the fastest mount, helping you quickly travel across areas while Basculegion can surf across water, Hisuian Braviary lets you fly through the air, and Sneasler allows you to climb steep slopes and mountains.

One of the best things about these mounts is that they can help you find hidden items around the map, similar to the Dowsing Machine in other Pokemon games. That means you’ll have the chance to find crafting and evolution stones that can help evolve some of your Pokemon.

Riding on these pokemon will also show you a wave that indicates where you are in proximity to treasure and other locations. These waves will turn red as soon as you are in the right spot, so it’s a useful tool for finding treasure.

Braviary

In the Pokemon series, there are a number of Ride Pokémon that can help players traverse the environments in different ways. Some of these are water-type Pokemon, while others can scale walls or sniff out buried treasures. In Legends: Arceus, players can also use a Flying-type Pokemon called Braviary to get above the ground.

Unlike the paraglider in Breath of the Wild, you can ride Braviary up to any high point without risking your health or falling from the sky. In addition, you can turn your Pokemon around and summon it again during the flight – this is especially useful if you’re trying to find a high-level Pokemon and don’t want to miss out on the fight.

This bird-like Pokemon is a symbol of valiance, fighting for its friends regardless of the risk to its own life. It’s known for its bravery and pride, and individuals with more front-facing scars are given greater respect by their peers. However, those with many scars on their backs are mocked by the flock.
